The development of FTA's Logistic Buyers Information Service (LBIS) is a direct result of feedback provided by FTA members involved in the wider management of their company's supply chains.
FTA is the natural home for organisations involved in the operation of inbound and outbound supply chains whether they are manufacturers, processors or retailers. These organisations may be large or small, they may or may not operate vehicles of their own and they have in common a dependency on their supply chains to meet their business goals.
Managers within these organisations are often charged with providing robust and sustainable supply chains whilst achieving corporate targets for cost, environmental standards and safety. All against a background of changing legislation, increasingly demanding customers and rising costs - a challenging role!
